Ömer Kaya

Ömer Kaya was born November 10, 1986 in Rüsselsheim. He is married and has two kids.

At the age of 17 he began his first job in an internet café. A few years later, in 2004, he started his own business as an estate agent.

This was followed in 2007 by the foundation of the first own company, a road haulage company in Wiesbaden.

In 2007, he took his first step into the financial services industry at BKM, alongside his company. In 2011 he was promoted to regional manager and two years later he was promoted to the position of regional director. During this time he continued to manage his transport company. In 2015 he moved from BKM to Inter Versicherungsgruppe.

On April 11, 2016, Kaya announced his entry into the film industry as an actor and began taking acting classes.

Soon afterwards he was involved in short films as a producer and investor. Big productions followed very quickly. With Muhtesem 3’lü he began work on his first big feature film. At the same time Meryem Ana was released, a successful short film that won over 30 international awards. Accompanied by these successes, other locations in Mainz, Istanbul and Paris were opened in addition to the production company’s headquarters in Wiesbaden.

At the beginning of 2020, the work on the next big feature films, Roter Schnee and Osman Sekiz, had to be shut down for the time being due to the Corona Pandemic. During this involuntary pause he published his first autobiography. Sales began in Turkey and Germany. The book is called Hayatınızda Keşke’lere Yer Vermeyin.
