Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When a page is accessed, IONOS processes technically necessary data in server log files, in particular the IP address, the date and time, the page accessed, the previously visited page, and the browser and operating system. This serves the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR (DSGVO). IONOS processes this data as a processor. How long the log files are kept is determined by IONOS's own rules.
No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no tools for audience measurement, advertising or tracking. Fonts, scripts and images are stored on the site's own server.
Local storage for the 3D setting
If you turn the 3D view off or back on, your browser saves this choice under the key ok3d in the local storage of your device. This information does not leave your device and is not sent to me. Storing it is strictly necessary for the function you requested (§ 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
YouTube videos
Videos are embedded in enhanced privacy mode via youtube-nocookie.com and only load when you click on a preview image. Until then, only locally stored preview images are shown and no connection to YouTube is made. When you click, your browser connects to YouTube's servers; the provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Among other things, your IP address and information about your browser are transmitted, and YouTube may store data on your device. A transfer to the USA is possible; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is the consent you give by clicking (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a GDPR, § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG). Links to other services
Among others, the website links to Calendly, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Xing, IMDb, booksellers and press reports. These services are not embedded. Data is only transmitted when you click a link, and from then on the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.
Contact by email
If you send me an email, I process your details in order to answer your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b GDPR where a contract or steps toward one are concerned, and otherwise Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
